A generic restaurant manual designed for restaurateurs who do not have
the resources of a large corporation to provide them with an operations manual.
The following is an excerpt from the section listed below:
EMPLOYEES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO WORK OR ENTER THE BACK OF THE HOUSE WITHOUT BEING IN THE PROPER UNIFORM.
A complete Blue Dog Diner uniform consists of the following:
Blue Dog Diner Shirt
Rubber sole slip-resistant shoe, tan, brown or black
Blue Dog Diner Cap or proper hair restraint
Blue Dog Diner Nametag
WOMEN:
Use the proper amount of cosmetics
One small earring per ear (no larger than a ¼ inch stud)
No extra jewelry on a chain around the neck (religious medallions may be worn if kept under clothing)
Hair pulled back by a Blue Dog Diner cap and/or proper hair restraint
